a
free ad-based program designed to help both individuals and
organizations raise money for their cause. We provide free interactive
ad-based virtual billboards where sponsors can post an ad or share a
personal message. The owner of the virtual billboard retains 93% of the
ad revenues. Whether you’re a non-profit organization or
needing to raise money for an individual or a family in need, a virtual
billboard is a fun and interactive way to achieve your financial goals.
A virtual billboard is to the Internet
what a roadside billboard is to a freeway. As
potential sponsors travel down the "Information Super
Highway", they will find virtual billboards on web
sites they visit, blogs they read, emails they
receive, and in news letters they subscribe to. As
sponsors come upon these virtual billboards, they will
notice that each one represents an organization or
individual cause. Sponsors are given
the opportunity to purchase ad space on a virtual
billboard that represents the organization or
individual cause
they endorse. They can use
this ad space to honor or pay tribute to a special
someone, or to advertise a business or special
interest.
The
owner of the virtual billboard retains 93% of the collected ad revenues. When
sponsors purchase ad space on a virtual billboard,
they can upload a picture or logo, include a brief
description or message, and attach a link to a web
site they would like to direct visitors to. |

about "One Block at a
Time"? 93% of the ad revenues are directed to the cause for which a virtual billboard represents. An administration fee of 7%
is withheld by GiveWithoutGiving.org to offset normal operating expenses and
credit card processing fees.
A minimum purchase of one ad-block is required;
however, a sponsor can purchase as many ad-blocks that are currently available on a given virtual billboard. The default billboard size is 4,225
ad-blocks.
A billboard can represent anything ranging from a nationally recognized
organization such as the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association,
to a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) or local soccer club -- the program is
really designed for any organization that is continually seeking funds to
maintain its operational status. This program is not intended to replace your
current fundraising initiatives, but rather supplement them in a fun and
innovative way. |
