GiveWithoutGiving.org is connecting home owners with
registered non-profits to run ad-based home give-away promotions as an
alternative to traditional real estate and For Sale by Owner
transactions. Once
we connect a home owner with a participating non-profit, we create a
customized ad-based virtual billboard for their home give-away promotion. We
also provide the home owner a free listing on our
real estate listing
service. It's up to
the home owner and the participating non-profit to promote their home
give-away virtual billboard and encourage people to sponsor it by purchasing ad-blocks.
The goal is to sell the minimum number of ad-blocks designated by the
promotion to award the home as the prize in a random drawing. If the minimum number of
ad-blocks are not sold before the promotion deadline, 50% of the
collected advertising revenues for the promotion will be awarded in a
random drawing from the pool of sponsors who purchased ad-blocks on
the designated virtual billboard. The remaining 50% will be awarded to
the designated non-profit/beneficiary for the promotion.
GiveWithoutGiving.org retains 5% of the advertising revenues as an
administration fee to offset operational expenses.

For the Home Owner:
The home owner is motivated to
participate in the program as an alternative to selling their home in
this troubled housing market. There no cost to the home owner to create
their own home give-away promotion and real estate listing. It's in
their best interest to encourage sponsorship with the goal of selling
the minimum number of ad-blocks to award their home as the prize. The
minimum number of ad-blocks for a promotion is calculated so as to
settle all debts associated to the property; hence, allowing the home
owner to designate their home as the prize -- free and clear of all
debt, and with 100% instant equity to the winner!
For the Non-Profit:
Regardless of whether the home is
awarded as the prize in a home give-away promotion or not, the
designated non-profit is guaranteed a minimum 10% share of the collected
advertising revenues from the promotion (see
sample revenue/prize distribution worksheet). If the minimum
number ad-blocks are not sold before the promotion deadline, the
non-profit is awarded 50% of the collected advertising revenues in
addition to the minimum 10% already calculated (less 5% administration
processing fee retained by GiveWithoutGiving.org).
