Overview |
|
Almost all
non-profit groups do fundraisers and perform various fund raising
activities throughout the year. As a non-profit organization, this is
frequently necessary so the group can continue operations and fund its
missions and goals.
This section
will explain this innovative and unique fundraiser program which any
non-profit group can implement absolutely free. This would be ideal for
almost any non-profit group or corporate giving campaign, including:
-
Supplement to corporate sponsored payroll deduction plans (i.e.
United Way).
-
Fraternity / sorority sponsored projects.
-
High
school marching band.
-
Sports
teams such as football, basketball, soccer, etc.
-
Church
related projects and church youth groups.
-
Cheerleading and color guard.
-
Boy
Scouts/Girl Scouts.
-
Almost
any school group, booster club or PTO or PTA group.
and countless
others like your local Crisis Community Center, Animal Rescue Group, the
local chapter of the American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy
Association, the local United Way chapter, etc. |

One Thing in Common |
|
What is the
one thing that each of these non-profit groups have in common?
Not a tough
question. Virtually all of them do some sort of Fundraisers throughout
the year. Most of them do multiple fundraisers. Why? Because the school
district, the church council, state/federal funding group, or whatever
management oversees them is not able to meet all of their financial
needs in order to fund the quality programs, equipment, and activities
that they need to. Additionally, corporate sponsored payroll deduction
programs ask employees to give up a percentage of their hard earned
money. That's great for those who can participate, but the reality is
that not everyone can due to financial challenges or limitations of
their own.
The
non-profit organizations, and particularly the youth-oriented groups
need the opportunity to experience adequately funded programs. This
means equipment for the soccer team, bus transportation for the football
team, costs to implement a marathon or competition, uniforms and a new
tenor "whatchamacallit" for the marching band, and the list goes on and
on. The gating factor is typically the Funding. |

The Problem With
"Traditional" Fundraisers |
|
There's a
problem with the "traditional" fundraisers like bake sales, car washes,
and the like. When the baked goods are gone, when the car wash hoses
are turned off, when the last volunteer has gone home for the day, the
same thing happens:
That Source
Of Income Is Shut Off Too! |

What If There Was A Better
Way? |
|
What if there
was a better way to do a fundraiser, a method or program that had the
following characteristics:
-
Zero cost
to implement or join the program.
-
Recurring
income and enhanced visibility towards your cause.
-
The group
is given a free customized virtual billboard from which it can sell
ad space to supporters.
-
Ordering
and provisioning is done entirely online.
-
There are
no deliveries to make, inventory to stock, no collections to make.
-
Your
group is selling space on a virtual billboard to supporters of your
cause for as little as $1 per block.
If such a
program were available, wouldn't you want to know more about it?

The Company Behind This
Program |
|
GiveWithoutGiving.org's "One Block at a Time" program was formed to help
organizations needing additional financial assistance by allowing
supporters to purchase space on a virtual billboard to honor or pay
tribute to a loved one or to signify corporate sponsorship of the
designated cause.
We do not
advertise nor solicit any of your supporters! Likewise, we do not sell
contact information from your supporters to third-party list providers!
Our goal is to provide your group with a fund raising tool you can
communicate to your supporters through your normal channels of
communication, and make available your FREE virtual billboard so they
can purchase blocks to support your cause.
This is a
honest, reconcilable program for quality organizations to use to help
fund and expand their programs! |
|
How Does My Group Get
Customers? |
|
This can be
done in the same way that you get supporters for your other fund raising
activities; i.e., pass out flyers door to door, at concession stands
during athletic events, at the malls, anywhere. Simply refer your
supporters to the group’s virtual billboard. You can even embed your
group's virtual billboard right into your existing web site to make it
easy for supporters to find it.
The
supporters don't need to be in your city or even your state. GiveWithoutGiving.org's
"One Block at a Time" program can be accessed around the globe. If the
group solicits the next door neighbor or someone across town or someone
in the next state or someone in another country, it's still revenue for
the group if a supporter purchases one or more blocks from your virtual
billboard! |
